Our Beliefs
We believe the Bible is God's infallible Word (II Timothy 3:16)
We believe in one God who was "manifest in flesh" (Son of God) and dwells within us (Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit). The name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is Jesus (John 5:43, Matthew 1:21-23, John 14:26)
We believe that salvation comes through believing and obeying the Gospel (Acts 2:38). Repentance (Death), baptism in Jesus' name (Burial), and the infilling of the Holy Ghost (Resurrection) were commanded by the Apostles and are still valid today.
We believe in living separated and consecrated lives to our Savior.

Our History

In 1955, Rev. & Mrs. Donald Crowl established the church in Burbank, CA. The first place of worship was the Odd Fellows Hall, and then a fire forced the congregation into a store front building on Burbank Blvd.
In 1962, Rev. & Mrs. Robert Baglin assumed the pastorate. Through their vision the church moved from the store front building to Victory Blvd. By the time this dedicated couple left 18 years laster, the church property was paid off, and the Pastor could now be full-time in the ministry.
In 1980, Rev. & Mrs. Larry Alred became the next pastor, by God's divine providence. The teaching of home bible studies was the emphasis as they led the flock forward.

![]() On November 4, 1981 Pastor & Sis. White (and their son PJ) pulled into town in their truck & trailer to assume the pastorate of the Burbank church (their second son Matthew was born 6 months later). The seed that had been sown for many years began to bear fruit in an ingathering of new souls. Since then Victory Tabernacle has been through 2 building expansion projects and started 3 additional branch church locations .
